The following is an 1887 map of the Chicago & Calumet Terminal Railway from the Railroad Maps of North America, The First Hundred Years (ISBN# 0-8444-0396-2). As you can see, the road called Blue Island & Orland Road is what is known today as the Midlothian Turnpike.
