An additional burial at the cemetery was identified from funeral home records, but was unable to be located into a specific lot as follows:

Emma A. Schmidt -
Born about 1885; died about December 8, 1964; buried December 14, 1964.

Based on the burial lot information, she was most likely buried in lot 4, 24, or 63.

 


 

The following was extracted from the Blue Island Sun-Standard - December 17, 1964


Emma A. Schmidt, age 70, late of Turn Pike Road and Kostner Ave., Crestwood, died Dec. 8 at the residence. She was born in Germany Oct. 1, 1885 and had resided in Bremen Township for 70 yrs.

She was the daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy Schmidt, and sister of the late August, Frank and Herman.

Rested at Hickey Chapel, Midlothian, until Monday when Rev. Donnell Jenkin officiated at graveside services 2:30 p.m. in Bachelors Grove Cemetery.
